5 Minute Guacamole

This easy-peasy, super yummy guacamole recipe can be done in just 5 minutes!

Serves: 4-8 depending on if you use it in your main dish or as a dip
Ingredients
  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
  • ½ chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoon (or more to taste) himalayan pink sea salt (or salt of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional (but recommended):
  • ⅓ cup chopped cilantro
  • ½ ripe tomato or ~5 cherry tomatoes
Instructions
  1. Cut avocados in half and remove the pits
  2. Either spoon out or squeeze avocado flesh into a large bowl
  3. Mash avocados using a fork or masher
  4. Stir in lime or lemon juice, onion, salt and pepper, and, if using, the optional ingredients- cilantro and tomatoes
  5. Taste and adjust if needed. Some days I add a bit more salt. On days when I'm feeling more zesty, I add in more lime juice.
